PlazCutz Racing Pitbike Fork Spring Preload Spacers are designed to solve one of the most common setup issues in pitbike racing — the lack of fork preload adjustment — while allowing changes to be made quickly and easily without full fork disassembly.
Unlike traditional solid preload spacers that require the fork to be stripped down, this spacer is engineered to drop in from the top. Simply remove the fork top cap from the fork legs, lower the bike down then pull the spring down by hand, insert the spacer into position, allow the spring to seat against it, and refit the cap into the fork tube. No draining oil, no dismantling, and no workshop time wasted.
CNC machined from aluminium, each spacer features a precision cut-out that locates securely on top of the fork spring and a stepped recess that seats neatly into the underside of the fork cap. This ensures correct alignment, positive location, and consistent preload every time.
Designed specifically for SP pitbike forks but my fit others, the spacer clears the top cap lip via a 22mm internal recess, allowing it to sit perfectly in place. These spacers are ideal for trackside testing and setup changes, making it easy to fine-tune front-end feel between sessions.
Supplied as a pair, and available in 10mm, 15mm, and 20mm thickness options, allowing riders to tailor preload to suit rider weight, track conditions, and riding style.
